Indochina Sail is a recently built deluxe junk of Halong Bay fleet - just launched in early April 2007. With well-appointed design and decor, the junk will together with its twin sister bring guests unforgettable experience cruising the World Heritage site.
Discover the splendors of Halong Bay aboard the Indochina Sail a wooden junk that combines classic beauty with modern comfort. Measuring 40 meters in length, this newly built, custom-designed yacht features three decks that house an elegant restaurant, two bars, a small library, and a massage room—plus ten luxurious sleeping cabins. With so much space, passengers can truly unwind and enjoy the bay’s magnificent scenery.
Measuring 40 meters long and 8,5 meters wide, custom-built wooden Indochina Sails features three decks, all outfitted with elegant Asian inspired decor. The lower deck is devoted to passenger cabins, with sleeping space for 30 people.
The Reception, Restaurant, the Indochina Sail Bar, Gift Shop and Library are all located on the main deck. On the top deck passengers will find the Sunset Bar and a spacious lounge area, perfect for our morning Yoga classes, weekend BBQs and sunset cocktails.

DAY 1: HANOI - HALONG BAY (L, D)
We depart from the capital at 8 :30 am for Ha Long Bay approximately three hours away. En route we have a short stop at the Sao Dao center run for and by handicapped children for short break. Upon arrival at Ha Long Bay we will be met by captain and cruise and transferred to Orchid Cruise . Welcome on board of the Indochina Sail and set sail through bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth. Opportunity to visit beautiful limestone grotto, go swimming or sunbathing. Enjoy cocktails while watching sunset and later unwind at Indochina Sail restaurant. If weather permits, a short night cruise could bring you a nice discovery of the sea life by night.
08.30-13.00: Pick up by private car at your hotel about 8.30. Spend 3 hours sight seeing country Vietnam on the way to Halong city. Arrive at Orchid Pier just before 12.00 noon.
12.30: Boarding Indochina Sail for departure. Welcome drink is served.
13.00 - 14.30: Lunch is served while cruising through Bai Tu Long Bay.
16.00: Trekking or swimming at Soi Sim Island.
17.15: Cruising to visit Hang Doi water tunnel with row boat.
18.30: Docking for overnight.
19.30: Diner is served. Guests dancing with Indochina Sail staff's interaction. Accommodation and overnight on junk.
DAY 2: HALONG - HANOI (B,L)
Rising to the tranquil beauty of the bay we have time for a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, a short trek to a nearby summit.
06.30: Sunrise Taichi on sundeck. Coffee or tea is served.
08.00: Visit splendid SUNG SOT grotto with a quick glimpse at the nearby fishing village.
09.00: Buffet breakfast while cruising back through Ha Long Bay to the pier.
10.00: Luggage pulls out. Clear all bills.
11.00: Arrive at the pier. Time to say Goodbye. Transfer back to Hanoi.

Overnight on Indochina Sail Cruise
DAY 2: HALONG BAY (B,L,D)
After breakfast, transfer to your day–trip boat with private crew and cruise to the bay’s most untouched areas. Enjoy swimming on quiet beaches, visiting water tunnels, fishing villages.
Lunch served on board by your private chef. Return to the mother boat for the night.
OPTIONAL KAYAKING (payable on board): At sunset time, kayak or simply take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnel with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon. Back on board Halong Indochina Sail, enjoy cocktails while watching sunset and later unwind at Indochina Sail restaurant.

DAY 3: HALONG BAY - HANOI (B,L)
Greet the day with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit a beautiful limestone grotto, then return to the boat for a final glimpse of Halong Bay while cruising back to the pier.
After lunch at Indochina Sail Restaurant, transfer back to Hanoi.
