Promoting Viet Nam’s tourism in Japan
In the purpose to promote the Vietnam’s tourism in Japan, a conference with the presence of Viet Nam’s national flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines, in coordination with the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan will be organised on May 21 in Tokyo, announced the opening of two new air routes to Tokyo in July.
In the conference, Vietnamese Ambassador Doan Xuan Hung emphasized that the fine relationship between Viet Nam and Japan, it is considered as the main foundation for the development of the two sides’ tourism and aviation sectors, thus helping boost mutual trust and friendship.
Hoang Thanh Quy, director of the Vietnam Airlines representative office in Japan, announced that the new air route between Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi) and Tokyo’s Haneda Airport will be operated on July 1st with seven flights per week while a another air route connecting from central Vietnam – Da Nang city to Tokyo Narita Airport will be put into service on July 16th with four flights a week. With the two new air routes, the carrier will have 62 flights to Japan a week. In addition, the opening of Da Nang – Narita air route will be the good condition to do increase foreign visitors’ number to the city and central localities.
Nowadays, Japan is listed as one of three countries with the most tourists to Vietnam, more than 600,000 Japanese visited Viet Nam, increase of 4.8 percent compared with the last year. In the list of the most attractive destinations in Vietnam, it must mention to Halong bay tours, Sapa trekking tour in Northern Vietnam, Danang city in Cental and Mekong Delta, HCM city in Southern. those are the places where there are more and more abroad visitors would like to expore.
